Anatolian Ceramics

Anatolia, so called Asia Minor, has hosted many different civilizations for centuries. The art of ceramics have been brought to Anatolia by first Turkish settlements in the east of Anatolia and together with Islamic influence, Seljuk and Ottoman Empires have developed a unique ceramic art, exploiting it in every corner of their lives. Anatolian ceramics have reached their highest point during Ottoman Empire where they have used thousands of different ceramics with unique figures in their architecture. Karvani Store is proud to bring original Islamic motives from the Anatolian ceramic capital, Kutahya.
