Karvani.com is an online boutique marketplace for the “stories” of the world and their related traditional handicrafts.

The founders, following the traditions of ‘seyyah’, the travelers and merchants moving along the Silk Road within caravans, collect stories and identify unique products throughout their travels. Although based in Austria, Netherlands, Turkey and USA, the founders go great lengths, near and far, to bring handicrafts from a particular historical era, geographical area or cultural identity to audiences around the world.

All handicrafts at Karvani have a story. We are aware of and amazed by the power of stories and how they can bring life and spirituality to a product. Although our products are unique handicrafts from cultures around the world, we know that we can only bring meaning to them as gifts by telling their stories.
